After her great-uncle Prof. Sepp Dengg and her father Prof. Harald Dengg, Burgi Vötterl took over as conductor of the Salzburg Folk Song Choir in 2001. She prepares the choir for the Salzburg Advent Singing with conductor Herbert Böck and plays violin in the orchestra of the Advent Singing.
