Dear guests, Dear friends,

There is no Christmas without Salzburg Advent Singing – every year I hear this message from numerous guests from near and far, who have often been coming to “their” Advent singing with their families for generations. In addition to this large circle of friends of regular guests, new audiences always flock to our performances with their expectations oft being exceeded. For example, last Advent, a visibly touched gentleman from Berlin, who was with us for the first time with business friends, said: “I have never experienced anything so beautiful, we will be back.“

For all of us who are allowed to participate in the Salzburg Advent Singing, such encounters are incredibly valuable and satisfying. I would like to thank you very much for this and would be delighted if you would honour us again or perhaps for the first time in Advent at the Large Festspielhaus.
